Join guest speaker, Robe Imbriano for a discussion about America’s historical struggle with equality, including excerpts from his Netflix documentary series, “Amend: The Fight for America”, which tells the stories of brave Americans who fought to right our nation’s wrongs, and enshrine the values we hold most dear, into the Constitution.
Robe Imbriano is the Emmy Award winning creator of “Amend”, hosted by Will Smith and featuring Mahershala Ali, Samuel L. Jackson, Sherrilyn Ifill, and others, and was co-Executive Producer of ABC’s “Soul of a Nation”, the first major broadcast network series about Black life in America. He also authored “I’ve Got Your Number”, a New York Times Op-Ed piece about his trouble as a Black man catching a cab in New York, which was republished in an anthology alongside writings by Langston Hughes, Roald Dahl, and Harper Lee.
