March For Science is Earth Day, April 22. Science, scientists and evidence-based policymaking are under attack. Budget cuts, censorship of researchers, disappearing datasets and threats to dismantle government agencies harm us all, putting our health, food, water, climate and jobs at risk. It is time for people who support science to take a public stand. Coming to DC? Checkout www.aeu.org/event/march-for-science.com
People’s Climate March is April 29. It’s a full-scale mobilization to defeat Trump’s fossil fueled agenda, push forward a clean energy economy, and build real political power. April 29 is our moment to make it resoundingly clear that the people who stand for climate action, justice, and jobs are a force too great to ignore. Coming to DC? Meet the AEU at 11 am at Mall near 3rd Street, in front of the Capitol and we’ll march down Penn. Ave at 12:30 pm to encircle the White House before speeches at Washington Monument at 3 pm.
