This Sunday, March 21 at 11:00 AM:
Have you ever wondered whether it is a coincidence that both Easter and Passover are celebrated at about the same time and that they both are celebrated in conjunction with the coming of spring–the vernal equinox. Equinox means “equal night”, a time when the night and day are of equal length. Many religious and nonreligious events throughout the world celebrate the time when night and day are of equal length.
The vernal equinox marks the time when the sunrise begins to occur earlier and night comes later, the time when plants begin to sprout, and days become warmer.
Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the coming of Spring!
