What “Seeds of Peace” taught me about people, politics, and peace “
Seeds of Peace has spent 30+ years at the forefront of peace building through its commitment to providing a platform for opposite ides of a conflict to meet in person. Guest speaker, Eric Tanner will share how his experience with this Organization reshaped his own understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, moving him away from easy narratives and toward the harder, more human work of listening across deep disagreement.
Since 2005, Eric Tanner has moved through nearly every role Seeds of Peace has to offer — camper, second-year peer support, counselor, Camp Director of Operations, and Chair of the Junior Board. Over two decades, that progression from participant to leader gave him a rare vantage point on some of the world’s most intractable conflicts, particularly between Israelis and Palestinians.
