The Alternatives to Violence Project is a grass roots movement dedicated to building peace and transformation in ourselves, our homes, schools, institutions and communities. Guest speaker, Aurel Smith shares his experience and insights of these vital programs.

Mr. smith’s personal journey provides a unique perspective on the Criminal Justice system As one who has experience it on the wrong side of the law, (he serve 17 years imprisoned for a wrongful conviction) and as one who now experiences and informs it as a service professional.
