“THE COOKSTOVE PROJECT” with Jeff Cadge, Board Member, The Cookstove Project

October 4, 2025 by Robin

Watch the full platform here.

The mission of The Cookstove Project is to eliminate preventable deaths, diseases, and environmental impacts that are caused by cooking over an open fire.

The most dangerous activity a woman in the developing world can undertake is cooking for her family.

Globally 2.6 billion people still cook indoors with open fire stoves, damaging their health and the health of their children.

Open fire cooking leads to the premature death of approximately 3.8 million people each year.

That’s higher than the number of annual deaths due to malaria, HIV/AIDS, or tuberculosis!

Using locally sourced materials we help build “clean cookstoves”  in Uganda and Nepal providing a positive impact on both the health of families and the environment.

Jeff is the owner of Cadge Productions Inc, a full-service video production company.

Jeff & his team have over 20 years experience in video production and photography, his experience in photography & video production runs the gamut including feature films, commercials, marketing, and fund-raising videos. He’s produced videos for companies such as General Electric, Pfizer, Guinness Import Company, and Verizon.

Jeff also works with non-profit organizations that make a positive impact on our community.
