Sedona Paykin, alongside two Unified Student Representatives Nico Arango and Michael Boylan, will present on the formation and impact of Unified @ lona Prep, an innovative after-school and summer program uniting special education and general education students through shared passions for sports, music, art, and service. With a mission to foster dignity, respect, and inclusion for individuals with disabilities, Unified @ lona Prep promotes empowerment through equity and accessibility-offered entirely free of charge.
Sedona Paykin is a high school special education teacher at lona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, where she is dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments and empowering students of all abilities. Sedona holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hunter College and a Master of Teaching in Secondary Education from New York University.
