Join Guest Speaker, Alex Applebaum as together we explore how climate distortions aggravate longstanding imbalances in political power and consider broad principles of social equity in the context of climate stress. Then as a group we will talk through ways to apply these principles and finish with a brief role-playing game.
As founder of AllBeforeUs,LLC, Alec Appelbaum promotes better understanding of climate change as part of everyday life. Since 2001 he has written and taught professional students to verbalize for others possible solutions to climate dilemmas. He has served as News Editor at the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, and his journalism and op/eds have appeared in publications including the Nation, the Atlantic, and the New York Times
