The Ossining School District has a long history of focusing on equity. This presentation will share past and present efforts to ensure excellence for all through equity. Guest Speaker, Dr Raymond Sanchez will share some of the successes and challenges he has experienced.
Dr. Raymond Sanchez became the Superintendent of the Ossining Union Free School District in 2013 and has led the district of more than 5,000 students during a period of tremendous growth in student population. Dr. Sanchez is also leading the way in developing partnerships with local agencies, organizations and educational institutions to provide books, school supplies, food, clothing, enrichment classes, parent training, and technological assistance for both students and parents.
